Crazy Patchwork & Embroidery

Sat 29th Feb 10am–4pm £45 incl. some materials

Create a 6” square patchwork base from a choice of either hand or machine blocks. Then explore various stitch combinations and embellishment techniques with lots of tips and tricks along the way. The finished work can be framed, turned into a cushion, bag or wall hanging.  Some of the projects can be hand sewn, but machine stitching gives you wider options. Stitching on Water Soluble Material

Sat 16th May 10am–4pm £45 incl. some materials

Water soluble film is a clear film on which you sew and then dissolve it in water to get the finished result.  Using machine embroidery you will experiment with different ways to use water soluble film and add new depth to your embroidery, artwork & clothes. Several samples will be completed during the day for you to take home and develop further when dry.
