Small Felt Picture for a card or framing
Sat 22nd Feb 10-12:30pm £25 incl. materials

This workshop will introduce you to the ancient art of felt making. Using simple equipment and techniques dating back to the Iron Age, and contemporary needle felting, you will make a small picture suitable for use as a greetings card or framing. There will also be the chance to embellish your picture with simple embroidery stitches. The fee includes everything you’ll need – all equipment and materials, plus a blank greetings card and envelope. All you need to bring is your inspirational image, and something to safely carry your picture home in!

Needle Felt a free-standing Blue Tit
Thurs 26th March 10-3pm £40 (incl. materials)

Celebrate our precious garden wildlife by making your very own small needle felted, free-standing Blue tit under the careful guidance of Adrienne. Bring the dawn chorus into your home with your own unique sculpture, and all the knowledge you need to develop your own ideas with this absorbing and highly creative craft.

 

Felted Shell – small wall hanging
Thurs 14th May 10am-2pm £35 (incl. materials)

In this workshop, Adrienne will show you how to use simple, everyday items to make a 3-D shell, decorated on the inside, and embellished with simple embroidery stitches and maybe even beads to create your own, unique home decoration! The fee for this workshop includes everything you need, as well as a piece of driftwood with attached picture hook for you to mount your shell on.

Needle Felted Hare Head Brooch
Thurs 18th June 10-1pm £30 (incl. materials)

Make your very own needle felted hare head lapel brooch. You’ll go home with a uniquely individual wearable sculpture, and all the knowledge you need to develop your own ideas with this absorbing and highly creative craft.

You will need to book your place to fully reserve it.  You can do this by phoning the shop and paying by card, or you can pop in to the shop and pay by cash or card.  The shop is open tues-sat 9:30-5pm.
