Locally Handcrafted Gifts, Cards & Artwork

On the 18th September we held Alsager's first Ceramic Festival with a Ceramic Market.  This was a real success with hundreds of people coming along to see the work of over 30 studio potters.  The event was organised in partnership with Northern Potters Association and Alsager Pottery.

A full ceramic exhibition was set out in the upstairs Studio and the Back Room, as well as the shop.  We also had 12 studio potters with their own stalls in the Studio and outside in a Marquee.  Entertainment was provided by Sue Heeley's fire blowing and musicians Elizabeth, Ashleigh and Rachel.  Simon from Alsager Pottery also provided a pottery throwing demo, where people could make their own pot.

The event continued for the next two weeks with the Ceramic Exhibition in the Studio and the Back Room.
