New Spring Workshop Programme

February

Thurs 8th – Watercolour - Trees - 7-9pm £20 (all materials included)

The staples of a good landscape are the trees in all their glory! We will be studying their form by training our eyes to capture their character

March

Thurs 7th – Watercolour – Sea Cliffs - 7-9pm £20 (all materials included)

Making rocks look like rocks can be daunting but getting them right makes the perspective of the picture convincing. A black rock isn’t just black it is made up of lots of tones and hues.

April

Sat 13th – Watercolour – Simple Structures – 10am-3pm £40 (all materials included)

From a simple hut to a farmhouse, a structure can give the picture a focal point, something to catch the eye. Where we place it makes all the distance. If we get it right it will draw the viewer into the picture.

Thurs 9th – Watercolour – Still Life - 7-9pm £20 (all materials included)

During the dark months we spend a lot of time indoors, so it is a good idea to try painting the familiar objects around us. Pots, plants, books. t can include anything!

Sat 11th – Anne Courtine’s Mixed Media Workshop 10am-3pm £40

Come and have fun painting with different techniques: mixed media! You will use inks, oil pastels, and coloured pencils on watercolour paper and let your imagination take over! (all materials included)
